SUMMER INTERN JOB DESCRIPTION

JUDGES COORDINATOR—Full-time position

 Judges Coordinator is a great opportunity for the right person.  The intern in this role will gain tremendous experience in people management and event management, as well as working in a team toward a common goal.  The festival itself is a magical time with heaps of fun and plenty of opportunity to make friends, see shows and be involved in New Zealand’s foremost alternative arts festival.  Because many of the events are on the weekends and in the evenings, a flexibility with work schedule is essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Maintain judges database
  • Coordinate judges schedules (phone and email)
  • Troubleshooting scheduling issues
  • Liasing with venues
  • Assisting with VIP/Sponsor tickets
  • Answer phones and emails in office
  • Assisting festival staff
  • Assisting with festival events
  • Assisting with awards and awards panel meetings
