Business Administrator - Immediate start
SOUNZ, the Centre for NZ Music is looking for a part-time Business Administrator to ensure that our services are of the highest standard and that our office runs smoothly. This is a varied position working with a small team that is passionate about New Zealand music. The position is a one year contract for 20 hours per week. An increase in hours may be possible.

We are looking for someone who has:
• previous experience with small business accounting, possibly in the not for profit sector
• knowledge of Moneyworks Gold (or similar accounting package)
• excellent written and communication skills
• an interest in music
and who:
• cares about accuracy
• likes working as part of a small team
• can be relied upon
• delivers excellent customer service
• is interested in learning new skills
and
who is eligible to work in New Zealand.
Main responsibilities include:
• invoicing
• payment of creditors
• banking
• PAYE, GST and Kiwisaver
• inventory management
• minute-taking
• reports to Board and funders
• office management
