Job description: 

AuSM – a registered charity and incorporated society is the Student Association serving students at AUT University.
 
We are looking for someone to develop and effectively implement a social activity programme that provides opportunity for students to socialise, get involved and enjoy a well-round University experience.
 
You will be:
* Organising and delivering annual event programme
* Providing a variety of activities and events across all three University campuses tailored to attract student participation
* Directing and assisting our Campus Clubs Co-ordinator
* Promoting campus activities to AuSM members
* Recruiting and supervising a small team of paid staff and volunteers
* Providing support for student initiated activity
* Working with AuSM departments to deliver support activities relevant to the promotion of AuSM services
 
We are offering:
* Salary range $38,000 to $50,000
* Additional benefits include 5 weeks annual leave
 
You will need:
* Events management experience (Essential)
* Proven organisational and administrative skills
* Budget management experience
* Strong customer service focus
* Drivers licence (manual)
* Commitment to the provision and ongoing development of quality services
* Sound written and oral communication skills
* A sense of humour and a “can do” attitude
