Job description: 

We are seeking to appoint a Collection Manager to help store, process and document the Photography & Media Art collections to international standards.  The person will join a team dedicated to making the Photography & Media Art collection and information about it accessible to users, whilst ensuring its long- term safety.

You will have recent experience as a Collection Manager, and will demonstrate a commitment to collection management processes. A relevant tertiary qualification and experience in Photography & New Media are expected. Your computer skills, particularly knowledge of MS Office software and collection management database experience, will be strong. You will be experienced at working in teams, as well as independently, and have an aptitude for problem solving and possess excellent customer service skills.

An understanding of te reo Māori and tikanga Māori and a museum studies qualification would be an advantage.
