Gallery learning: R & D coordinator
The gallery is preparing for reopening of its main building in 2011. The teams are ambitious with plans to deliver rich and accessible information.
This fixed-term contract position would support the Curator Education by coordinating research and development of, and contributing, to new interpretative programmes that will enhance the visitors' experience, enjoyment and understanding of the gallery's exhibitions.
The specific projects are; an audio guide for the New Zealand collection, curriculum-based resources for school students, resources for families and young visitors.
This is a full-time fixed term or secondment role, working Monday to Friday and through to end of October 2010.
