The New Zealand School of Dance is one of the Southern Hemisphere's leading tertiary dance institutions. In addition to fulltime training, the school offers a range of outreach programmes designed to develop talented young dancers.
WINTER SCHOOL PROJECT COORDINATOR
We are currently looking for a person to assist the school in organising a popular recreational programme – the NZSD Winter School (5 – 9 July 2010). The main focus of the role is administration with the emphasis on accurate, timely and appropriate communication with all involved.
This is a part-time, fixed term role (approximately 17 hours per week, some flexibility required).
The ideal candidate will be a friendly, highly motivated multi-tasker with:
- Strong administrative skills (including Microsoft Office, Outlook)
- Good telephone manner and general communication skills
- Accurate data entry
- Experience in invoicing/receipting. Ideally the applicant would have knowledge of Quickbooks, although a small amount of training is available for applicants with knowledge of other accounting software
- Ability to reconcile bank statements
- Reliable, able to work under pressure
- Great attention to detail
- An interest in dance would be useful, but not necessary
