The programme officer role focuses on servicing a portfolio of sponsorship agreements, working within clearly identified parameters. Utilising your commercial acumen, you will manage the day-to-day relationships with the sponsors of the events council owns. Remaining calm under pressure, you are able to balance the needs of council and the sponsor, for mutual benefit and maximum value.
A background in sponsorship, brand management, marketing or events is preferable, supported by a tertiary qualification. Knowledge of the Auckland events industry is highly desirable.
