Human Resources Adviser
The Ministry for Culture & Heritage plays a leading role in enhancing and valuing New Zealand’s culture and heritage, and enabling New Zealanders to access quality cultural experiences. The Ministry provides advice to government on cultural matters, funds various arts, cultural, heritage, sport and broadcasting organisations, and delivers a range of cultural and heritage products and services.
We are seeking an experienced generalist adviser to join our small Human Resources team. The successful applicant will be proficient in Payroll and HRIS, and will have experience across a broad range of other HR functions. Familiarity with recruitment and selection, health and safety, employee engagement, performance management, and interpreting and applying employment agreements and policies, would be particularly useful.
Although this is a full-time role, applications from strong candidates wishing to work part-time (at least 30 hours a week) will also be considered.
Proficient in Payroll and HRIS, experience across a broad range of other HR functions.
