Job description:

The School of Art + Design invites applications for the full-time position of Director of St Paul St, the AUT University Art & Design Gallery complex situated in St Paul Street on the AUT University Campus in Central Auckland.

You must have a postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in an appropriate field, with experience, and thorough knowledge of art and design practice in New Zealand and internationally.

The ability to provide leadership and a clear vision for the gallery programme is essential. An understanding of strategic links to teaching and research within the context of a University Gallery is required.

St Paul St Galleries has a reputation as a significant University Gallery with a high national and international profile of exhibitions and events in Art and Design.
