Job description:

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is full of determination to help make a difference to the Wanganui community.

You will be a key member of the Library's front line team as well as part of a cross-council Youth Services group. As the Library's Children's team you will develop and implement innovative and compelling library programmes for children/rangatahi/youth as well as delivering coordinated services to children and young people in collaboration with Youth Services colleagues from across council.

You will have great interpersonal skills and be able to juggle competing demands while presenting a professional manner. Your passion for customer service is a must! Your most important attribute will be your ability to engage with all members of the community, especially youth. Energy and a strong commitment to working as part of the Library team are essential.
