Gallery Manager
ROAR! gallery is New Zealand’s premier gallery supporting Outsider Art. We are looking for a highly creative, motivated and organised person to manage the gallery exhibitions, artists and staff and promote exhibitions and the gallery throughout New Zealand.
Experience in exhibiting art in a gallery or retail setting; skills in marketing and promotion; event management experience; good people and written and verbal skills; excellent computer skills, are all essential.
ROAR! gallery works with artists from Pablos Art Studio and the wider art community to create a varied and dynamic exhibition programme in our gallery at 55 Abel Smith Street, Wellington (above real Groovy).
We're looking for someone who can:
Manage a professional gallery and exhibition space that provides a public face of Pablos and maintains a high profile for Pablos Artists within it.
Provide opportunities to support Pablos artists independence, recovery and professional development.
Create community through the development of programmes and events that engage artists, audiences and the wider community
Lead the way in defining, supporting and evolving Outsider Art in New Zealand.
