TVNZ’s Human Resources team plays a key role in leadership, culture and development within the business. As part of the media industry, TVNZ is transforming and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Consultant to join our team.
Together with an HR Manager, you will partner with the business to provide best practice business solutions and service. By developing key relationships you will be able to add value to your portfolio through coaching and sound advice. And you will also have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of HR change projects.
To be successful in this position you will need a relevant tertiary qualification and at least 4 years generalist experience working in an HR business partner model. Strong business acumen to complement your HR skills is key, as are great communication skills. A dynamic industry such as media demands someone with tenacity and the ability to cope well with ambiguity. Great planning skills and the ability to juggle a number of competing priorities effectively are therefore essential.
