Job description:

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, student centred person to join our team in the School of Media Arts.

This position is based predominantly in the Moving Image area of the School. You will be assisting students and tutors with edit suites, camera and lighting equipment, moving image software and other related video and studio equipment. You will be responsible for stock control, booking and maintenance of specialised equipment and ensuring facilities are kept in good working order.

Experience in software including Mac OS, Final Cut Studio, AVID Media Composer and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Other essential skills include experience in High Definition digital video technologies, computer networking, TV studio production and multimedia production. Basic electronic skills would be an advantage.

To be successful in this role you need to demonstrate a high level of initiative, the ability to manage competing tasks, keep accurate records and work closely in a team. You will also need excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
