An opportunity exists within the TVNZ Senior Sales Management team for a General Manager Direct Sales. This role reports directly to the Head of Advertising Sales and owns and drives the revenue responsibility for the Direct Sales team, developing and implementing Direct Sales strategies with an understanding of the wider TVNZ offerings. 

You will manage your sales strategy to identify new commercial opportunities and grow the TVNZ sales business. As a great people leader you will have the responsibility to coach and develop the Regional Sales Managers along with the Auckland Direct Sales team. You will work with the Regional Sales Managers and Auckland Business Sales Managers to translate and implement go-to-market strategies and focus into their regions. 

You will possess a thorough understanding and interest in the future of television and the opportunity for television content to expand into and enhance the Digital Media space. 

You will have a strong sales management background and a real drive for success.
