Job description: 

The National Communications team sits within the Corporate and Governance Group There is a team of 18 communications and support staff responsible for the provision of communications support for new initiatives and ongoing operations through the development and management of communications plans, strategies and projects.

As Assistant Online Advisor you will be responsible for coordinating, writing and publishing content for the Ministry's website and Intranet. You will also be key in coaching and troubleshooting for the author community and championing online communications opportunities across the Ministry.

This is a stimulating role with plenty of opportunity to contribute to some exciting new initiatives in the online space at the Ministry as you will be involved in a combination of both project and business as usual activities.

This is an entry level position for someone with a passion for online communication and is committed to getting the job done. Although this is not a technical role, good technical aptitude and an interest in web communication is essential. Someone with excellent writing skills, customer focus and attention to detail would be ideal for this position.
