Marketing & Admin Manager - Wellington

Dance Aoteraroa New Zealand, the national service organisation for dance, is inviting applications for a key DANZ position.

We are looking for an experienced manager who has:

• Excellent skills and experience in marketing and communications, including branding
• A good understanding of IT, website development, social media, email marketing and database development.
• Writing and editing ability – covering a range such as media releases, website content, promotional material, email newsletters and proofing skills
• Project management skills including managing relationships with a number of suppliers and partners e.g. for publication of DANZ Quarterly magazine
• Experience with staff and office supervision, training and recruitment, financial management, office procedures and policies
• Good team work and understanding of processes to develop team/community
• Preferred knowledge of the dance or arts industries in order to provide advice, support and advocacy including in the areas of funding and infrastructure development.

The position will provide unique opportunities to understand and work with the dance industry and its infrastructure.

It is contemplated this would be a full time position, although DANZ may consider a job share proposal or fixed term contract for suitable applicants.
