We need an extra-ordinary Executive Assistant who can keep pace with the dynamism of broadcasting! 

You will be a key part of the senior team with a very busy high output role. It is critical that the successful candidate has the ability to work well under pressure, and who is excited by the idea of working for TVNZ.

To give you an idea of what your role will include:

• Preparing accurate and top quality presentations, board reports, and ad-hoc documentation
• Pro-actively managing diaries, correspondence and email
• Working with key senior leaders to identify sensitive issues and implement solutions
• Screening of calls and emails
• Co-ordinating travel arrangements
• Meeting and project coordination and administration support where necessary.

If you thrive in a staid, predictable work place, do not apply. We need someone who will flourish in a demanding environment that never stays the same for long. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working as an Executive Assistant at an executive level for at minimum three years;
• Sound judgement and fully conversant with the principles of confidentiality
• The ability to see problems before they arise, and come up with creative and timely solutions will set you apart from the rest.
• Efficient time management, sound organisational skills, and the ability to effectively juggle priorities are vital.
• Will have strong computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Mac’s iWork programme Keynote.
• A flexible attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously and seek information where required are essential and;
• An interest or experience in media or a related industry would be an asset but not essential.
