City Gallery Wellington has a reputation for challenging and innovative exhibitions–presenting New Zealand artists alongside major international figures.

Reporting to the Exhibitions Manager and working closely with the Galleries’ curators you will research the availability of artworks and prepare and record loan documentation. Continually working towards exhibition changeovers you will coordinate the inward and outward freight of artworks while having responsibility for the safe handling, packing/unpacking, movement and storage procedures of a variety of art mediums.

You will be proficient in writing condition reports for all incoming and outgoing art works.  Experience in methods of artwork presentation, conservation and preparation, in addition to the ability to monitor environmental conditions will make you a valuable asset to the Gallery's Exhibition Management team.
