Senior Adviser - External Relations
Victoria University is looking for a Senior Adviser - External Relations to join its Communications and Marketing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior level professional who can develop and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy that enhances the University's external relationships.
The role will coordinate and support the University's engagement with business, community groups, government and other stakeholders. Reporting to the Director, Communications and Marketing, the role will work closely with senior management and also assist faculties and central service units on specific University-wide projects.
The successful applicant will be an effective operator at both strategic and operational levels and have the ability to quickly form effective working relationships across the University. They will have a solid background in stakeholder relations, have experience in developing and implementing engagement plans, and will be able to produce communications materials which support the stakeholder engagement strategy such as speeches, presentations, briefings and letters. Ideally the successful applicant will also have experience or an understanding of Universities and the tertiary education environment.
