Job description:

The Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki based in New Plymouth, is one of New Zealand’s 20 polytechnics, with in excess of 2,000 equivalent fulltime students and approx 200 staff. We are currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Digital Media and Animation Tutor to join our busy team.

This position covers a range of teaching topics, for example 2D and 3D Animation (3D studio Max), Digital Media (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Web media.

We are looking for someone who…

is a team player with excellent communication skills
has a Masters qualification or equivalent
has experience in research
We actively encourage creative practice from our Tutors in this field of work.
