(32 hours per week - 12 Months Fixed Term)

This temporary, part-time position is to provide cover for the incumbent who is taking Parental Leave. For this role, you will have particular experience in the area of visual arts, especially public art projects. The role involves providing advice and administrative support to the Council’s Public Art Panel, managing the Council’s Art Collection plus coordinating some of the Council’s own arts projects (e.g. the Wellington Asian Residency Exchange programme). You will also regularly provide advice to individual practitioners and groups on funding opportunities and how to develop exhibitions and projects.

In addition to your passion for the arts you will be a great communicator, have a wide range of writing skills and have a high degree of confidence with Microsoft Office programmes.
