TheNewDowse is an innovative contemporary art museum that presents a diverse exhibition programme of nationally and internationally significant contemporary art and design. This is an exciting opportunity to join an energetic and creative team in a stimulating organisation that is well established as one of New Zealand’s leading cultural hubs.

You will be an experienced project manager with a background in design and a passion for the visual arts.  Ideally, you will have experience working within a museum, gallery or similar organisation.  
Working closely with the Director and the rest of the leadership team, you will streamline the planning and delivery of all programming at TheNewDowse. Your proven organisational skills will allow you to lead and implement every facet of exhibition planning and installation. You will also manage a small team of design and technical staff and develop/extend strong ties with suppliers and contract staff. Your practical, pragmatic nature will assist with these collaborative relationships and ensure that all exhibitions are delivered to the highest possible specifications, within a limited budget.
