As a result of the reorganisation of the Hastings City Art Gallery a new and exciting opportunity has been created to assist the realisation of the vision for Hastings City Art Gallery and help position the gallery as a significant hub of contemporary NZ art.

This new role will be responsible for providing competent and efficient administrative support, and also provide customer service to visitors to the gallery.

Our preferred candidate will:

  • Be competent in the use of Microsoft packages
  • Have a knowledge of the NZ Art Gallery and Museums environment
  • Be outgoing and have a cheerful personality
  • Have a proven customer service ethic
  • Be a superb communicator and team player
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Be positive and creative

The days and hours for the role are Monday to Friday 10am – 3pm

Key skills sought: 
Be competent in the use of Microsoft packages, have a knowledge of the NZ Art Gallery and Museums environment
