Creative New Zealand (the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa) is the national arts development organisation, promoting and supporting the arts and artists in New Zealand. Creative New Zealand receives funding from the New Zealand Lottery Grants Board and directly from the Government through Vote: Arts, Culture and Heritage.

Do you want to be part of a creative and dynamic organisation and have the chance to make a significant impact on its monitoring and evaluation processes? This is a senior role, reporting to the Chief Executive. It offers the successful applicant the opportunity to develop systems for measuring our effectiveness. The role is Wellington based.

The Manager will work closely with managers and staff across the organisation in order that the systems created span the full breadth of our work and that they support and enhance existing systems and processes.

To succeed in this role you must have: 

·       Expertise in monitoring and evaluation development and implementation

·       Understanding of, and experience in, assessing programme and development impacts

·       Knowledge and understanding of arts sector and industry/business development issues, policies, programmes and interventions

·       Strong interpersonal skills

·       Ability to develop high quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders

·       Experience in relationship management at a senior level

·       A commitment to the principles of the Treaty or Waitangi

·       A relevant tertiary qualification
