Special Projects Advisor – Public Affairs
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced communications professional. Reporting to our General Manager - Public Affairs, this senior role is responsible for driving positive reputation management in relation to Special Projects within the area of Public Affairs. Special projects can range from urgent short term requirements to long term strategic project delivery. Key tasks will include assisting in the development of Public Affairs strategies and plans, and implementing these effectively and efficiently including preparation of collateral.
The capability to think strategically, political awareness along with well developed project and time management skills are critical for this role. Outstanding written and oral communication skills gained through extensive communications and media experience, coupled with a relevant tertiary qualification are also a pre-requisite.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate stakeholder management experience, excellent people skills, and the ability to work within a team as well as independently.
