Victoria University is looking for an Events Manager to join its Communications and Marketing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and professional Events Manager who will manage a wide range of key University events including Graduation, student and staff functions, black tie events and public lectures.

Reporting to the Director, Communications and Marketing, the role will work closely with the Vice-Chancellor and other senior Communications and Marketing staff to deliver an exciting and busy programme of University events. 

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly form effective working relationships across the University. 

The successful candidate will have a solid background in developing and delivering a variety of events. Ideally the successful applicant will also have experience, or an understanding of, universities and the tertiary education environment.

Victoria's Communications and Marketing group comprises Communications, Marketing, Events and Online Services. The group communicates with more than 2,000 staff, 22,000 students and a diverse range of external stakeholders.
