Communications & Projects Officer
This position includes responsibilities for:
- Managing day to day communications of the Music Commission including maintaining the database and mailing lists
- Refining and implementing the communications schedule for the organisation
- Writing and distributing newsletters, press releases and relevant information advising the public, media and music industry of Music Commission projects
- Project management duties for Music Commission initiatives, such as seminars, workshops and upskilling programmes
- Working on the NZ Music Month programme of promotions and events
- Organising media coverage for relevant projects and events where necessary.
Please note – this is not the position of NZ Music Month Manager. That role has been disestablished and responsibilities reallocated.
The ability to develop and maintain relationships with other businesses and organisations is an important part of the role.
