Job description:

Dunedin’s community access broadcaster Toroa radio is making the exciting switch to FM.

Toroa is seeking a person who can meet the challenge of not only managing a radio station but nurturing a valuable community asset and Dunedin institution to its full potential.

The candidate should preferably have a radio background, but an understanding of the principals of community access radio is essential.

You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills while being considered an approachable team player. An ability to forge strong links with stakeholders and to seek and nurture relationships with existing as well as new sponsors and broadcasters will be a key part of your role. To achieve this a background in sales, marketing, PR or communications in Media, Arts, Fundraising or Community sectors would be an advantage.
