Job description: 

The Te Papa Corporate Records team is seeking a go-getting, engaged and client focused records advisor.  You will have experience in working in the records and information management in a central or local government environment and have an ability to understand the technical nature of information management.  You will also be familiar with government processes and have experience with electronic records, document management software and systems.  Most importantly, you will have great people skills and the ability to help quality and consistent business recordkeeping processes.

Working with our eDRMS system (eDocs), you will be responsible for user training, provision of advice, and support as well as involvement in a range of core records management activities. 

These will include:

  • Access & File plan oversight and alignment
  • Records systems support & training
  • User record keeping training & induction
  • Provision of record keeping guidance & advice
  • Analysis of business recordkeeping requirements and processes

You’ll also enjoy the challenges of records management within a creative organisation and have a flexible work style and an ability to cope with the unexpected.

Key skills sought:
