The Learning Connexion is a tertiary school of Art and Creativity based in the Hutt Valley, Wellington. 

We are seeking a warm, confident, ‘people person’ to join our busy admissions team in a fulltime capacity. 

This is an essential role at TLC and requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual who loves a challenge, talking to people, and building strong relationships with customers.

The purpose of the role is to answer enquiries and assist people who are thinking about enrolling on our courses, so an interest in art and creativity, coupled with great customer service and sales experience is desirable.

To be successful in this role you will also need strong computer skills, including experience with databases, Excel, Word, Access and Outlook.

Example of tasks: 

Showing potential students around our Campus. 

Attending and helping people on our 'hands-on' course preview evenings.

Talking to people on the phone about our courses, the creative subjects we offer, and whether it fits in with their lifestyle.

Sending out information packs and prospectus to interested people.

Looking through portfolios and applications to assist students into the correct course level.

Key skills:

Organised, and initiative based.

Reliable, confidential and honest.

Strong administrative skills.

Intuitive and open-minded.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Must love talking to people and be a charismatic clear communicator.

Team Player. 

 

The role consists of 35 hours per week, worked 9-5 Monday to Friday and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
