The Auckland War Memorial Museum is entering an exciting new era in terms of defining its future vision and strategy.

This 3 year fixed term contract is a pivotal new role within the Museum’s Project Delivery Team to lead the content development, subject research and interpretation delivery for the Museum’s gallery renewal programme.
 
This position encompasses a unique skill set in determining the stories the Museum will tell; and then working with multiple stakeholders to successfully deliver this.
 
It is essential to have proven experience in leading content and interpretation development for major gallery renewal projects that have successfully transformed the visitor experience.
 
The successful candidate will require gravitas and credibility and outstanding conceptual thinking with the ability to provide clarity of thought that will engage others.
