Academic Administrator
Due to the increase in our international student numbers, Southern Institute of Technology is wishing to appoint a half-time Academic Administrator to assist the Programme Manager with the administrative duties associated with the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Enterprise programme. Such duties will include: arranging part-time tutorial staff and supervisors, arranging and monitoring student internships, student enquiries, assistance with timetabling, monitoring student engagement with supervisors, tracking and monitoring marking of student dissertations, entering results, meeting coordination, word processing and general administration. The person we appoint will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and have a sound knowledge and experience of working in a busy office environment, preferably at a high level. A “can do” attitude and the ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability within the working environment to undertake the varied range of duties involved is also required.
