Job description:

Webb’s, New Zealand’s premier auction house, is seeking a manager for its fine art department. If you have a comprehensive understanding of New Zealand art history and current practice, together with a sound understanding of the commercial side of the industry, please send your CV and application to Sophie Coupland, Director: scoupland@webbs.co.nz.

As department manager your role will include marketing and planning, overseeing printing and catalogue production, client negotiations and operational management. The responsibilities of the role have the scope to grow and develop to that of senior specialist. This role reports to the head of the fine art department and will commence in Jan 2011.

comprehensive understanding of New Zealand art history and current practice, understanding of the commercial side of the industry
