Marketing and Development Manager
The New Zealand International Arts Festival is a biennial multi-arts festival held in Wellington. It is New Zealand’s largest cultural event celebrating the very best arts entertainment from around the world and within New Zealand.
The Festival is looking for an experienced marketing professional to develop, implement and manage the marketing, communications and sponsorship of all events produced by the Festival including, the Lexus Song Quest and the Wellington Jazz Festival.
Strong leadership abilities are essential as you will coordinate the marketing and development team to manage responsibilities including:
- Overall marketing, communications and sponsorship strategies and plans
- Advertising and media campaigns including social media and event marketing
- Brand management, and collateral design and production
- Development and management of website and publications
- Implementation of pricing and ticket sales strategies
- Sponsor and media relationship management
- Market and sponsor research and analysis
Based in Wellington, this exciting position would suit someone who enjoys working in a high pressure environment, initially as part of a small team which will grow significantly during the Festival. Due to the nature of the Festival a flexible approach to working hours is essential
High level capability for the role would include arts marketing, communications and sponsorship knowledge as well as planning, financial, staff and relationship management experience.
