Financial Controllor/Fundraiser Extraordinair
A part-time position is available for a Financial Controller/Fundraiser extraordinaire. Whilst your main duties are the day-to-day financials of the village and monitoring of the Village's project expenditure. You will also be tasked with tightening up our systems. We use MYOB currently, but unless you are an MYOB whizz and can make it do what we want, we will be keen to overhaul the system. So make your mark...
Fundraising will be a team game. You will not be expected to do it all, but you will need to have excellent structured writing skills to help sell our point.
The position is for 15 hours per week for general accounts, plus flexi time for grant writing.
The successful applicant will have sound financial and planning skills, and an ability to work flexibly within a dynamic organisation. They will be personable, trustworthy and want to work as part of a team.

The Rotorua Arts Village previously known as RAVE, is an Arts Hub, where artists, groups, professionals and amateurs focused on art and culture in Rotorua can come and participate.
A complex of studios, meeting rooms and kitchens, the Village provides facilities for art groups to get together day or night for a wide variety of art classes for all ages and levels of skill.
