Q - Recruiting now for management roles
Recruiting now for roles in: Business Management, Operations, Development, Marketing and Communications and Programming
This is an opportunity to be at the heart of one of the most exciting developments in Auckland’s performing arts for many years.
In gestation for over ten years, Q Theatre will be ready to open its doors to the public in September this year and we are now recruiting the management team tasked with running an incredible space that contributes in more ways than we ever envisioned.
Led by Q Director, Carla Theunissen, the Q management team will be responsible for all elements of the theatre – business management, venue operations, development, marketing and communications and programming. While we have an organisational structure and specific jobs in mind, we do have some flexibility about how things will best be structured – which all depends on the skills and qualities you could bring to Q.
Specifically, we are looking for people who can lead in the following areas: Business Management (HR, IT, Finance and Reporting, Ticketing, Business Planning); Operations (Venue Sales, OSH, Front of House, Technical/Production, Building Management); Development (Fundraising, Sponsorship); Marketing and Communications (Branding, Customer Relations Management, Audience Development, Campaign Management, Online Marketing, Public Relations, Market Research); Programming (Curating, Budgeting, Scheduling, Contracting, Artist Liaison ) and Ticketing Management (Systems, Staffing, Event Builds, Financials and Reporting, CRM & Marketing Integration).
In particular, we are looking for an Associate Director to work closely with our Director in leading the organisation.
Whether you’re perfectly aligned to one area, or you have a pick-n-mix skill set from the list above, please get in touch with us. We are looking for people who are generous, open and dedicated. Our plan is to build a team that is complementary to each other, can work collaboratively, but is above all else, committed to the success of performing arts and excited about the opportunities Q presents.
Q Vision: Auckland is at the heart of creative excellence in New Zealand’s contemporary performing arts
Q Purpose: New Zealand’s best professional venue & hub for the contemporary performing arts
A pick 'n' mix of Business Management, Operations, Development, Marketing and Communications and Programming
If you want to be a part of Q and contribute your knowledge and skills to making a difference in the arts please send your CV and cover letter to Catherine Nola at Catherine@qtheatre.co.nz or call 309 8324 if you have any questions.
We are taking applications and enquiries until Wednesday 15th June 2011.
