Hospitality staff for Q's bar and café
Q, Auckland’s newest theatre venue, will be ready to open its doors to the public in September and the first place they’ll walk into is our bar and café.
A friendly and contemporary space, the bar and café will be a home for Auckland’s artists meeting over coffee during the day; audiences getting a meal before a show, or locals having a glass of wine and snacks after work.
We have a unique opportunity to create a fresh new team led by Hilary Ord, working in a brand new (and very cool) space. You have an opportunity to set a quality standard and be part of a creative and busy environment that aims to be Auckland’s premier entertainment venue.
We are looking for:
Bar staff – looking for people who love cocktails, passionate and knowledgeable about wine and beer, has a great sense of humour and really enjoys what they do.
Maitre’d – we want someone who is vivacious and stylish, responsive and mature.
Chef - you might be an innovative sous chef who is looking to take the next step in your career and wanting the chance to build a solid reputation. You must have experience with costings and know how to run the kitchen profitably.
Waiters – looking for people who are professional and fun, smart and interested in the arts.
Barista – We want someone who is experienced and well-trained, knowledgeable and passionate.
We are looking for people who are generous, open and dedicated. Our plan is to build a full hospitality team that is complimentary to each other, can work collaboratively, but above all else, enjoys the performing arts and is excited about what Q can contribute to Auckland.
