Job description:

Webb’s holds a leading position in the sale of New Zealand paintings at auction. As an intern for the fine art department at Webb's, you will have a privileged view of the day to day workings of a busy fine art auction house. You will be involved with photographing and installing works; the cataloguing and documenting processes; auction day portering; database administration; general technical tasks such as painting and packing of art works.

If you have an understanding of New Zealand art history and current practice, together with an interest in gaining an insight into the commercial / auction aspect of the fine art market, we look forward to hearing from you.

The position is unpaid with a 3 month, 3 day per week minimum commitment period.
