Are you a supporter of Auckland’s thriving performing arts scene?  Do you have time and energy to be part of a governing executive committee? You can make a difference by bringing your skills to the Performing Arts School Incorporated, a non-profit community organisation providing performing arts education and recreation programmes.

Since 1991, the Performing Arts School of New Zealand provides performing arts education and recreation programmes to over 3,000 people each year. We are open to anyone that would like to participate in, or engage with, the performing arts for fun, play, exploration, or to make the performing arts their career.

As our reputation grows, so does demand for our courses and programmes.  We are constantly evolving and call the Auckland Performing Arts Centre our home, where we work with our partners, the Western Springs College Performing Arts Department, and TAPAC, to create a hub of creativity where creative exploration and freedom can be nurtured and supported.

We need enthusiastic, creative and committed people to join our Executive Committee to help us develop and grow.  We are looking for people who: 

• Are passionate about performing arts across all sectors
• Bring strengths in business, finance, fund raising and marketing
• Can use their networks and enthusiasm to contribute to our development and fund raising programme
• Can contribute energy and expertise beyond just the monthly board meetings
