ATC is launching a major capital fund-raising campaign to raise funds for a state of the art theatre in Auckland's Wynyard Quarter and is seeking an experienced administrator to co-ordinate and support the General Manager and Development Manager in the fund-raising operation.

The position is designed to provide a high level of day-to-day administrative support for fundraising activities and to assist the Development Manager to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with donors, sponsors, funders and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be hands-on and highly organised and have outstanding interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication skills and a very high degree of computer literacy. They will have an eye for detail and an understanding of the nuances of managing sensitive and confidential stakeholder and donor relationships. 

Initially this position is for the duration of six months. The successful candidate needs to be able to start immediately and hit the ground running.

Auckland Theatre Company is one of New Zealand’s leading theatre companies, engaging over 250 actors, creative personnel and technical staff each year.  Seven to eight productions are created as part of the Company’s annual subscription season, which are performed in a variety of theatres, or on tour.  In 2011 Auckland Theatre Company will present productions at the Maidment Theatre, the Auckland Town Hall Concert Chamber, Q Theatre and The Civic. 

 The Company’s move to its new rehearsal and administration premises in Mt Eden will see the launch of ATC PARTICIPATE and the development of creative collaborations and other initiatives.  These new programmes sit alongside the Company’s highly regarded ATC EDUCATION and ATC LITERARY programmes.
