Like our Museum, Te Papa’s retail stores are filled with amazing items that all have a story to tell.

We currently have vacancies for 3 Sales Assistants to join our successful retail team working across three stores (1 position at 32 hours and 2 positions at 10 hours).

Our vibrant museum stores are open 7 days a week including late nights, weekends and public holidays including Christmas Day, so applicants must be available and willing to work these times. All vacant roles will be rostered across varying hours and days of work.

To be successful in these roles, you will have excellent knowledge and experience of selling in a busy retail environment and you will enjoy providing exceptional customer service. You will share our enthusiasm for achieving sales targets and enjoy engaging with people to deliver outstanding customer service within our unique retail business.
