Job description:

This is an opportunity to work as a part-time journalist in our small, multi-skilled team.

RNZI broadcasts to the Pacific and our bulletins and programmes are re-broadcast on local radio stations in ten Pacific countries. We are looking for a journalist to produce stories and features on news from the Pacific region.

As part of your work you will also be required to read news bulletins and present our flagship daily current affairs programme from time to time.

The successful applicant will be highly multi-skilled and will have:

An interest and understanding of the Pacific region.
A strong broadcast quality voice.
At least five years experience in reporting, writing stories and compiling packages.

Work hours are Monday and Tuesday with shifts starting from 11.00am
