95 bFM is an iconic brand that has been at the forefront of New Zealand music, opinions and culture for over 40 years.
When you dig a bit deeper than the good-looking b logo, you will see that 95bFM hosts a wealth of knowledge on music and independent news and views. To help support this fiery world of innovation and discovery we require a person to assist with music selection and establish and maintain excellent working relationships to ensure the stations on air integrity.
This individual will be research for new music material via music publications, blog sites and/or other media; and will constantly strive to increase 95bFM’s success and maintain our place as the best radio station in the world.
Preferably you will:
- Have extensive music knowledge and perceptiveness of the 95bFM audience
- Knowledge and understanding of how music is marketed, distributed and supported
- Be a highly motivated self starter,
- Possess excellent written & verbal communication,
- Have good organisational and time management skills,
- Knowledge of G Selector and Nexgen operating systems.
This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week.
