Journalist
Job description:

New Zealand’s number one radio station is looking for a journalist to help take NewstalkZB into the multi-media future.  We have a new website launching soon and we’re focussed on taking a bite out of the online news media.

This is a new role, responsible to the Online Editor.

You will be passionate about breaking news.  NewstalkZB regularly breaks news on the air; you’ll be responsible for consistently breaking it online too.

You will be able to quickly sub-edit stories written by our journalists for radio, fleshing them out into online stories.

You’ll run online promotions which attracts UV’s and lifts pages viewed.  You’ll also publish our station e-letter – the eZB.

You need to have a technology bent as we need you to fly the online flag in our newsroom.  You may already be working for an online publication.  Experience with Photoshop and HTML editing software will be required.  Multi-media experience in audio and video editing would put you ahead of the pack.
