Senior Producer - Morning Report
The country’s leading public broadcaster is looking for a talented journalist keen to be a senior producer on our flagship programme Morning Report. The role is based in Wellington.
You will be committed to the highest standards of journalism, have a broad general knowledge base, and thrive in the fast paced world of radio. You’ll be able to meet our demanding deadlines, produce quality material for our high profile programmes and your talent at producing will mean you get the most out of our presenters. Your ability to organise and programme planning skills will keep you ahead of the game.
It’ll also mean you can balance researching material and writing question lines with finding and developing stories. You’ll also be able to turn your hand to assessing talent for the programme, producing live and recorded segments of the programme and processing interviews. To top if off, your collaborative approach will ensure you make a valued contribution to our team and your skill at relating to a diverse range of people will stand you in good stead in this role.
