New Zealand’s leading public broadcaster is looking for a journalist who has the talent to help produce material for the country’s most authoritative radio news bulletins.

If you have a keen interest in national and international news, can quickly identify the best angle for a story, and thrive on the fast pace of a busy newsroom, then this could be your next role.

You will be skilled at gathering and editing news audio, able to meet tight deadlines, write accurate bulletin copy, have an excellent command of English and grammar, and a good working knowledge of media law.

To top if off, your collaborative approach will mean you work effectively across the newsroom and are a strong team player. You will ideally be well versed in using audio editing equipment or quick to pick up these technical skills. Shift work is required.
