Job description:

Make your pitch and showcase your talent to the world.

Do you have a product/service relevant to the international community?

Can the global community of NZers help you achieve an international goal?

Just ask.

Kea New Zealand (www.keanewzealand.com) is working on an innovative initiative- called 'PassItOn'. PassItOn is designed to leverage the additional attention that NZ will receive in the lead up to 2011 [Rugby World Cup] to promote the best of New Zealand, including our fantastic creative sector.

In development for over nine months, PassItOn aims to profile the most exiting organisations, ideas and individuals in New Zealand. We don’t just want to share their stories, we also want to ask the global community of New Zealanders to help achieve some specific outcomes.

You could be:

  • A fashion desiginer trying to break into the Japanese market
  • A multimedia / animation / motion graphics guru offering services to London for New York
  • A visual artist seeking representation in Europe
  • etc etc

If you think you represented the best New Zealand has to offer in your field then we want to hear from you.

Criteria for Inclusion

Answer yes to all these questions and you’re a PassItOn candidate:

  • Does your work, product or service genuinely exemplify what is cool, exciting or desirable about New Zealand today?
  • Can you present your work, product or service in an interesting way?
  • Are you internationally orientated i.e. is your work, product or service relevant and accessible to a global audience?
  • Do you have a specific ask? We don't just want stories or profiles. You need to be trying to acheive some kind of outcome.

There is no cost to be involved however you need to meet the PassItOn criteria and be prepared to invest in the development of video content that complies with the PassItOn content guidelines.

We need professional, good quality submissions but we will consider anything.

Please note that not all requests to be profiled will be granted.

See the Kea New Zealand work in progress blog for more information and the manifesto and content guidelines.
