Professional Advisory Panel Member
New Zealand’s foremost tertiary provider of dance training is seeking expressions of interest and nominations for membership of its Professional Advisory Panel. This opportunity will appeal to those with in-depth experience of the dance profession who wish to contribute their knowledge and passion to the New Zealand School of Dance.
The New Zealand School of Dance Professional Advisory Panel acts in a consultative capacity. It is composed of representatives from the New Zealand dance and education sectors. The panel meets at least twice a year in Wellington to discuss and evaluate the professional standards of the New Zealand School of Dance and to advise on:
- How the School is perceived by industry and other stakeholders
- Delivery and integration of professional standards
- Future development of the teaching programme
- Outreach development
Members of the panel may be based anywhere in New Zealand and may be industry practitioners, teachers or choreographers. New appointments will be for a period of two years, which may be extended for a further twelve months by agreement. Membership of the panel is voluntary and attracts no remuneration. Travel costs to attend meetings are covered by the school.
