The New Zealand School of Dance is one of the Southern Hemisphere's leading tertiary dance institutions. In addition to fulltime training, the school offers a range of outreach programmes designed to develop talented young dancers.
WINTER SCHOOL PROJECT COORDINATOR
We are currently looking for a person to assist the school in organising a popular recreational programme – the NZSD Winter School. The programme itself runs from 6 – 10 July. The main focus of the role is administration with the emphasis on accurate, timely and appropriate communication with all involved.
This is a part-time, fixed term role (approximately 17 hours per week, some flexibility required).
The ideal candidate will be a friendly, highly motivated multi-tasker with:
• Strong administrative skills (including Microsoft Office, Outlook)
• Good telephone manner and general communication skills
• Accurate data entry
• Experience in invoicing/receipting. Ideally the applicant would have knowledge of Quickbooks, although a small amount of training is available for applicants with knowledge of other accounting software
• Ability to reconcile bank statements
• Reliable, able to work under pressure
• Great attention to detail
• An interest in dance would be useful, but not necessary
The Winter School Assistant will need to be available from 6th April until 17th July 2009.
