The Royal New Zealand Ballet is one of New Zealand’s largest and most successful arts organizations, it works in an exciting and challenging entertainment market and is committed to being a touring dance company of excellence through dynamic team work. 

The organisation is seeking an individual who is self-motivated, possesses good communication and people skills, is confident, demonstrates initiative, works well within a team and with relevant background in technical management to join its busy Production Department. 

Essential requirements for this position are: 

  • Staff management experience
  • A working knowledge of scenery construction
  • A basic knowledge of H&S
  • Touring experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
